• Question: If I pushed one of my classmates (they probably weigh about half a million kg)With a super mega push about (5 septillion newtons)how far would they go?

      Hi Tim,
      you have to exercise a bit more in the gym if you really want to push 5 septillion newtons! 😀

      Imagine that the rocket that will launch Tim to space can push “only” 1 million newtons. And that is enough to send Tim, his crewmates and a whole rocket into space.

      If you really pushed a classmate with 5 septillion newtons, he would go so far that he’d never come back to Earth. But because of Newton’s law, you would also be pushed in the opposite direction with the same force, so you both would lose yourselves in space, at the opposite ends of universe.
      I guess it’s better not to try that 😉

      I think if you could push your classmates with that much force, we should sign you up for the British Olympic team as soon as possible!
