Hi SpaldingHighSchool9S!
There is always the possibility that something can go wrong.
However, there are significant amounts of redundancy (IE there are lot’s of backups) built into all of the systems so if something does go wrong there should be something to take its place in order to keep Tim safe! He has also had lot’s of safety training and has set protocols to follow if he experiences any problems.
In addition, Tim is a survival expert as he was a survival instructor before becoming an astronaut so is in a good position to get out of any trouble 😉

They use satellites and the connections are really good! We were lucky enough to be called by the ISS this winter. Astronaut Samantha showed us around which was great!!
