      Hi Barry!

Yes! I have been very lucky in my career!

Between 2001 and 2003 I worked in Turin, Italy to help design the space walks (EVAs) to install the Node 2 (Harmony) during the 10A Assembly mission in 2007 and Node 3 (Tranquility) during the 20A Assembly Mission in 2010 which were built by Thales Alenia Space. Then in 2007 I joined the Columbus Engineering Support team to support the installation of Columbus on ISS in February 2008 during the 1E Assembly Mission. I have also been involved in support roles through all subsequent assembly missions since 2007.

Between 2003 and 2007 I also worked with the operations teams at CNES in Toulouse to support the first ATV Jules Verne Mission to ISS.

One of the coolest moments for me was when in 2007 I was working at the Columbus Control Centre and I watched the astronauts involved in the assembly of Node 2 follow the EVA procedures I had help to write!
