  I have grown up hearing about the expeditions of British polar explorers like Scott, Sir Walley Herbert and Ben Saunders (@polarben) and really wanted to see the place for myself! After going to the North Pole it felt like the next step for me. I also wanted to see a penguin and I find the research for the European Space Agency I’m doing here really interesting.

Question: what made you want to work in antarctica?
