      Hi Georgie-May,
      the Earth was not there yet during the big bang, together with the Solar system, it was born billions of years later.
      It all started with a gigantic cloud of dust that collapsed and became a star with no name, which would have been named “Sun” some billions of years later.
      After that, the planets formed. And it was a whole lot of huge asteroids hitting one another, that must not have been a lot of fun!
      I think that these collisions are what caused the tilting of the Earth spin axis.
