• Question: How many solar systems are there in the universe?

      Hey Gulcin!

      Over 500 have been found so far. NASA think that given how many we have already found in our own neighborhood that perhaps in the entire galaxy there are likely to be tens of billions, perhaps even 100 billion!! So still plenty left for us to find!! 🙂

    Do you not mean galaxy, Gulcin?
    ‘Solar Systems’ are basically star systems (Stars with solid objects in their orbit) found within galaxies (our Solar System is one of billions of solar systems within the Milky Way galaxy), which make up the universe.
